OMG people talking here. I was starting to feel like Tom Hanks in Castaway, now I come back a week later and we have a new thread with real posts. Cool.

I will be "sick" that day as well, however like Smack, I am running my own show so I have to figure out how to call in sick to myself. And then if I get caught, what do I do? Maybe suspend myself for a day. Of course if I am suspended, I will probably just go sailing, so not much of a punishment. wait... I am starting to feel like Tom Hanks again.

Unfortunately it's been rainy here in Newport-- we're hoping the weather will clear up, the breeze will stay up, and we'll be able to get in some sick sailing time when we should be at the office!

Hey swint,

If the breeze comes back up, we'll do a run on our Global Regatta course on Lake Travis. I've GOT to beat that 1 hour time the Chessie sailors threw down on the Short Course! Bastards! It'll definitely take some sick sailing!

tq - that's the beauty of being the boss isn't it? Slink off work and go jack around on the water...come back to the office, chew yourself out for having a bad attitude, give yourself a 3 day suspension, and go jack around on the water.
