    Default Reefing Question

I recently bought an Islander Bahama 24. I can't seem to see any way to reef the main sail. No grommets for any type reefing system I am used to. The only grommet I see is about a foot above the tack, I suppose it's for a cunningham? Any Ideas?

    saltybert-

the grommet you describe does indeed sound like a grommet intended for use with a cunningham, and if you don't see any other grommets above that, you may be out of luck.

one option would be to take the sail in to a loft and ask them to put in some grommets-- that should be a pretty simple modification I would think.

i'd be interested to hear what you decide to do.
